Zhijun Wang

Zhijun Wang grew up in Beijing as a rebellious youth. Fascinated by traditional Chinese culture, he started to learn how to draw at the age of nine, which served as the foundation for his love of creating art. In 2008, determined to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a sneaker designer, Wang quit his creative job at an advertising agency. This allowed him to explore and develop ideas such as incorporating Chinese traditional crafts like pyrography and leather carving into his sneaker designs. Wang continues to march forward in pursuit of his dream.
